Youth consultation has been a vital part of how we build the projects we make with young people. We decided to formalise this process by bringing a panel of youth advisors together, including their reflections and input through feedback and strategic planning for future work.
Our Youth Advisory Panel is currently comprised of three young people who have been involved in multiple Cracking Light Productions over the last five four years. Nakai Mudiwa, Arianne Mallari and Ben Haigh were involved in Rising Tide as well as the Dublin Fringe exhibition that emerged from that project. Arianne and Nakai have since participated in Seachain an Bhearna and Panganay while Ben has most recently been involved in Seaweed Stories.
We are indebted to their generosity and clarity of reflection in helping to guide the work we offer to young people.

As a small company committed to creating generous and innovative socially engaged work, we recognise the importance of valuing the voice of young people in our creative process. We are dedicated to ensuring that children and young people's perspectives are heard and respected in the development of all our projects.
As a company, we are committed to supporting and amplifying youth voices in the climate conversation. We actively seek out opportunities to collaborate with young people and support their efforts to create change. We also ensure that our creative work on climate change includes diverse perspectives, including those of young people from different backgrounds and communities. If ecology teaches us anything it's that diversity is essential for a healthy ecosystem. We believe that by valuing and amplifying their voices in the climate conversation, we can create more effective and equitable solutions to the challenges ahead.
